There are some mornings when they wake in a knot of naked limbs, that Duo honestly can't tell where he ends and Heero begins. It's like they share one body, one heartbeat, and each breath is synced perfectly as they curl together lazy and warm beneath a cocoon of heavy blankets.

He sorts himself out slowly, and nuzzles the soft, dark tangle of Heero's hair, waiting for a sleepy mumble and a smile that curves against his skin.

"Morning, sunshine," he says, and rolls on top of Heero to set about losing the space between them all over again.
